- The role involves developing and leading field programs primarily in the Pacific Northwest. - The consultant will perform rare plant surveys, vegetation monitoring, and plant community mapping focused on Oregon and Washington states. - Following federal and state required survey protocols is a key responsibility depending on project needs. - This position offers an exciting opportunity to build expertise in botanical, wetland, protected species, habitat mitigation, and environmental permitting. - The consultant will gain experience across different sectors, clients, geographies, and services within ERM's collaborative culture.

- The ideal candidate should have experience leading field-based botanical surveys and biological assessments. - Proficiency in managing data and writing technical reports is essential for supporting permitting and project development. - Familiarity with taxonomic keys for plant identification and adherence to botanical survey protocols is required. - Experience with wetland delineation and wildlife habitat mapping specific to the Pacific Northwest is preferred. - A strong collaborative spirit is necessary to work closely with ERM Project Managers and Partners on various environmental projects.
