✨ About The Role
- The Global System Support Center serves as the central point of contact for regional Field Engineers to address system-related issues in the Storage Business Unit.
- The role involves diagnosing failing units in the field and assisting the customer support team in confirming RMAs.
- The engineer will provide subject matter expertise to field support teams to resolve customer issues effectively.
- Conducting root cause analysis on field returns by coordinating with cross-functional teams is a key responsibility.
- The engineer will create Failure Analysis Reports that summarize customer problems, impacts, and results of the root cause analysis.
- Tracking product failure rates through reports generated using administrative tools and database queries is expected.
- Developing innovative methods to identify critical failure modes and prevent them prior to new product launches is part of the role.

- The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Power Systems.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in failure analysis, product quality, and reliability is essential.
- Candidates should possess a strong understanding of power systems, power electronic devices, and embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with schematics, electronic components, and troubleshooting techniques is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective information consolidation and presentation.
- A proactive and innovative mindset with strong analytical problem-solving skills is crucial for success in this role.
- Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment and familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Ruby is preferred.
