✨ About The Role
- The Sr Electrical Engineer will act as the primary subject matter expert for resolving operational and reliability issues in turbines and Balance of Plant systems.
- This role involves leading root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts to ensure reliability compliance deliverables are met.
- The engineer will collaborate with Plant Managers and Engineering team members to ensure adequate maintenance activities are performed.
- The position requires performing in-house protection system assessments and making necessary modifications in collaboration with Plant Managers.
- The successful candidate will also conduct arc-flash assessments of wind facilities and coordinate changes to existing SCADA systems.

- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 7 years of relevant work experience.
- A strong electrical background is essential for performing engineering maintenance and field troubleshooting activities.
- Familiarity with applicable CSA/IEEE/ANSI Standards for medium and high voltage equipment is required.
- The successful candidate should have experience with Type 3 and Type 4 wind turbine generators and their associated controls.
- The ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders is crucial for success in this role.
