- The Underground Storage Engineer will be responsible for designing and planning drilling operations to support natural gas storage facilities.
- This role includes managing well workovers and conducting project evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards.
- The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize the development, maintenance, and operation of gas storage wells and facilities.
- Responsibilities include completing engineering evaluations of storage assets and providing recommendations for enhancement through maintenance and expansion projects.
- The position requires troubleshooting operational challenges and implementing corrective measures to ensure safe and efficient operations.

- A related university degree in Engineering is required, along with a minimum of four years of engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- The candidate should be registered with PEO as a P. Eng. and possess a valid class G driver's license with a responsible driving record.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to influence without authority.
- The ideal candidate should have experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously and meeting defined timelines.
- A preferred background includes experience in natural gas well drilling and well workovers, along with an understanding of reservoir characteristics and analysis methods.
