✨ About The Role
- The Applications Engineer will serve as the primary technical resource for the Critical Power team, driving customer assessments and product evaluations.
- This role involves developing technical and financial proposals based on power assessments to meet customer objectives.
- The engineer will articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
- Responsibilities include responding to RFIs/RFPs and providing design and specification support to consultants and distributors.
- The position requires maintaining accurate records of accounts, opportunities, and project statuses in company-approved systems.
âš¡ Requirements
- A successful candidate will have a BA/BS in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- The ideal individual should possess 3-5 years of experience in DC Power, particularly in engineering and general contractor estimating.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and knowledge of Microsoft Visio and/or AutoCAD is desired.
- The candidate should have a solid understanding of network communications technology, including Internet, Intranet, VPN, TCP/IP, and Ethernet.
