- The role involves joining a team of experienced Gas Engineers to provide service and repair support to customers.
- The engineer will play a crucial part in British Gas' Service Promise, which includes same-day fixes for customers.
- The position offers a base salary of £43,733, with the potential for an additional £6,000 London weighting allowance depending on the area.
- Uncapped on-target earnings (OTE) of £60,000 are achievable through a field reward scheme.
- The engineer will represent British Gas in customers' homes, attending both annual service visits and complex breakdowns.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a dedicated focus on providing outstanding customer experience during every visit.
- Candidates should possess current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1) and relevant NVQ or C&G qualifications in plumbing or heating.
- A minimum of three years of qualified experience in fault finding and diagnosis is essential for this role.
- Strong electrical knowledge, including wiring and fault finding on S-plan, Y-plan, and combination systems and boilers, is required.
- The successful candidate will be comfortable working across a variety of different boilers and central heating systems and manufacturers.
