- The Production Engineer (Operations) will serve as a key link between the Operations Process Engineering and Production Teams.
- Responsibilities include supporting equipment troubleshooting and driving continuous improvement of process units and operations.
- The role involves ensuring that SOPs are updated in line with operational changes and managing the MoC program.
- The successful candidate will lead assigned process and plant improvement projects from scope development to training and commissioning.
- The position requires participation in MOC review and approval meetings and verification of MOC documents for accuracy.
- The engineer will develop commissioning plans, training materials, and updates to SOPs while coordinating with Production and Maintenance teams.
- The role emphasizes a commitment to safety and compliance with all applicable technical regulations and company policies.

- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a process or production plant is required for this role.
- The successful applicant should have experience with the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Management of Change (MoC) processes.
- Candidates with previous experience in a research and development environment will be preferred.
- The individual should be registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PEng) with the Engineering and Geoscience BC (EGBC).
- A collaborative working style and a focus on team performance over individual recognition are essential traits for success in this position.
- Strong analytical, technical writing, and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with effective verbal communication abilities.
