✨ About The Role
- The Carbon Capture Analyst will report to the Director of Intellectual Property and will be responsible for conducting research and analyzing trends in the Direct Air Capture (DAC) market.
- This role involves collaborating with key departments within Carbon Engineering to provide insights on data trends and identify opportunities for revenue generation.
- The successful candidate will contribute to the development of Carbon Engineering's business strategy and intellectual property portfolio.
- Responsibilities include conducting data analysis, supporting data requests, and developing reporting dashboards to share business insights with stakeholders.
- The role requires networking in the scientific community to identify opportunities related to DAC and associated technologies.
- The candidate will be expected to critically evaluate and enhance competitive intelligence data management systems.
- The position is based in either Vancouver or Squamish, B.C., with a requirement to work onsite at least 2 days a week.

- The ideal candidate will have a master's degree or higher in Engineering, Analytics, research, or a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytical role is required, preferably in a company that has developed new chemical process technology.
- The successful candidate should possess a passion for finding insights in data and driving change based on those insights.
- Strong experience in mining, extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data is essential, along with experience in techno-economic analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to produce presentations and translate complex problems into decision-ready insights.
- The candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative analysis skills.
- A high level of independence and self-motivation is crucial, with the ability to come prepared with solutions.
- The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced, agile business and R&D environment and be comfortable collaborating across technical, business, and administrative teams.
