✨ About The Role
- The Operations & Maintenance Technician will work as part of a three-person crew on a 12-hour rotating shift.
- Responsibilities include ensuring the safe operation of plant equipment, including gas turbines and water treatment equipment.
- The role involves reading meters and gauges to verify operating conditions and performing chemical offloads as per procedures.
- Technicians will be required to perform preventative maintenance and log performance into a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- The position requires operating heavy equipment such as manlifts and forklifts as needed.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a completed High School Diploma, with technical training related to the role being preferred.
- Experience as an Operator in a power plant is preferred, particularly in Combined Cycle Plants.
- A safety-minded individual who thrives in a collaborative team environment will excel in this role.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are essential for resolving operational issues effectively.
- The candidate should be able to communicate issues clearly to the Control Room Operator and work well with others.
