✨ About The Role
- The NERC Compliance Specialist will assist the Manager, Reliability Compliance in ensuring compliance with Federal and Regional electric system reliability standards.
- Responsibilities include supporting reliability compliance policies and procedures and assisting with compliance activities.
- The role involves tracking and preparing for changes to NERC Standards and maintaining an annual Reliability Compliance schedule.
- The specialist will work with Regional Subject Matter Experts to organize and maintain compliance evidence for reporting and audit activities.
- Participation in internal and external compliance audits and regional reliability organization workshops is expected.

- A successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in the electric regulatory industry, particularly in transmission and/or generation, is essential.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of NERC 693 (O&P) compliance standards.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and reporting.
- The candidate should be highly organized with attention to detail, capable of working in a high-pressure environment.
- A team player who can also work independently and apply individual judgment as required will thrive in this role.
