✨ About The Role
- The NERC Compliance Manager will manage reliability compliance policies and procedures for Brookfield’s Bulk Electric System generation and transmission assets in the U.S.
- This role involves leading compliance efforts and tracking new and revised NERC Standards that impact the business.
- The manager will maintain and implement an annual Reliability Compliance schedule for both generation and transmission assets.
- The position requires working with regional subject matter experts to organize and maintain compliance evidence necessary for reporting and audits.
- The manager will also be responsible for leading internal and external compliance audits and participating in regional reliability organization workshops and seminars.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the electric utility industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of compliance management.
- A successful candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience specifically in a reliability compliance management role.
- Strong leadership skills are essential, as the role involves leading a compliance team and providing direction and coaching.
- The candidate should have a solid knowledge of NERC 693 (O&P) and CIP Standards, along with basic knowledge of electrical generation and transmission.
- The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role.
