✨ About The Role
- The Staff ASIC Application Engineer will be responsible for developing next-generation automotive ASICs for Power Electronics and Gas/Diesel electronic control modules.
- This role involves working closely with customers to understand their high-level requirements and designing appropriate solutions.
- The engineer will contribute to the overall ASIC architecture and support IC Design, Test, and Product teams during development.
- Responsibilities include electrical and thermal analysis of proposed systems, development of datasheets, and providing technical training for products/applications.
- The position requires mentoring less experienced team members and supporting system returns and debugging to root cause.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with a Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the electronics industry, particularly in automotive and integrated circuits, is essential.
- The successful individual will possess a proven track record of documenting technical and safety requirements.
- Strong technical documentation and verbal communication skills are crucial for this role.
