✨ About The Role
- This role involves providing finance leadership to the Viana plant organization, reporting directly to the Controller.
- The candidate will participate in the overall management and leadership of the business, providing early warnings on business trends affecting performance.
- Responsibilities include preparing customer quotes to ensure long-term profitable growth for the Viana Plant.
- The individual will work with the Cross-Functional Team (CFT) to achieve targeted profitability levels and participate in cost reduction programs.
- The role requires developing financial business cases to support investments in the product line and supporting month-end activities, forecasts, and budgeting.
- The candidate will ensure that all systems provide accurate and timely data for management decision-making.
- Maintaining internal controls and procedures related to inventory and cost systems is also a key responsibility.
âš¡ Requirements
- A successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Economics or Management, with an MBA being a plus.
- The individual should possess a minimum of 6 years of business experience, demonstrating a track record of increasing responsibility.
- Strong financial background is essential, particularly in cost accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- The candidate should have knowledge of cost estimating, US GAAP, and internal controls (SOX).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP/Hyperion/Onestream is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities with internal stakeholders at all levels are crucial.
- Fluency in English is required, along with proficiency in Portuguese (spoken and written).
