✨ About The Role
- The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for electronic design for high-volume manufacturing.
- The role involves ensuring high quality and suitability for harsh environments, particularly for Control Units and High Voltage Power Electronics products like Inverters.
- Key responsibilities include developing electronic schematics and analyzing circuits to meet customer requirements.
- The engineer will perform verification testing of designs and lead the layout of Printed Circuit Boards.
- The position requires interaction with customers and collaboration with other BorgWarner sites across different regions.
- The engineer will also support Validation teams during Design Validation and Process Validation phases.
- Leading Electrical DFMEA activities and planning, preparing, and executing tests are part of the job.
- The role includes providing on-the-job training for other engineers.
âš¡ Requirements
- A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is required for this position.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in electrical design.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Experience in electronics design for EMI/EMC compliance is necessary.
- Familiarity with Functional Safety ISO26262 and FMEDA is preferred.
- The candidate should possess effective problem-solving skills and methodologies.
- Previous design experience in Power Electronics is considered a plus.
- Proficiency in PC applications, including MS Office, CAD programs, and simulation tools, is expected.
- Strong communication skills are crucial for interacting with customers and team members.
