- The Environmental Engineer will lead and maintain the operation of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 50001:2018 Management Systems.
- Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with environmental and energy controls and monitoring legal requirements.
- The role involves coordinating internal and external audits of management systems and following up on training plans in environmental and energy matters.
- The engineer will manage procedures and analyses required for legal compliance in areas such as water, soil, air, and waste management.
- The position requires preparation and presentation of the Annual Operation Certificate and management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Industrial, Chemical, Environmental, or End-to-End Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position is required, demonstrating a solid understanding of environmental management systems.
- Candidates should possess technical knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards, with experience as an internal auditor in the automotive industry.
- Strong familiarity with legal requirements regarding energy and environmental compliance is essential, including knowledge of LGEEPA, LGPGIR, and NOM's.
- The successful individual will have experience in accident investigation and prevention, as well as EHS&S risk management.
