- The Controls Engineer will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to automate and link production systems.
- Responsibilities include hardware design for central and peripheral components for plant and robot control.
- The role involves creating and managing specifications and requirements documents.
- The engineer will be responsible for developing circuit diagrams, parts lists, cable plans, and terminal plans in collaboration with plant builders.
- Planning and conducting test runs and preliminary commissioning will be part of the job duties.
- The position includes supporting commissioning and acceptance tests at the company's facilities.

- The ideal candidate should have a degree in automation technology or a related field.
- Fluency in both German and English is essential for effective communication.
- Candidates should possess several years of experience in the design and commissioning of highly automated manufacturing systems.
- Experience in PLC and/or robot programming is required, with familiarity in systems such as S7, TIA Portal, Kuka, and PROFIBUS/PROFINET.
- A strong attention to detail and a pronounced quality awareness are crucial for success in this role.
