✨ About The Role
- The Senior SCADA Automation Engineer will lead the technical design for the SCADA engineering group for all assigned projects.
- This role includes acting as an Owner's Engineer for projects produced by contractors for Blue Ridge Power.
- Responsibilities include leading the preparation and review of Functional Design Specifications based on customer requirements.
- The engineer will supervise a team of automation engineers and mentor senior engineers in best practices.
- The position requires travel up to 25% for Factory Acceptance Testing and on-site support.

- The ideal candidate will have 6-8+ years of experience in SCADA and utility-scale solar power management systems engineering.
- A strong technical competency in automation logic and control platforms, particularly with SEL RTAC, is essential.
- The candidate should possess good knowledge of electric power system protection, control, automation, and communications protocols.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
- The ability to adapt to changing commercial requirements and manage multiple design projects under tight deadlines is important.
