- The Utility Engineer in Training will lead utility relocation and coordination projects for various clients, including DOTs and municipalities.
- The role involves identifying, coordinating, and resolving utility conflicts, documented in a Utility Conflict Matrix.
- The candidate will review utility relocation design plans for compliance with relevant laws and standards.
- Responsibilities include performing preliminary engineering design and reviewing the work of junior engineers and designers.
- The position may involve preparing cost estimates, job budgets, and schedules, as well as overseeing the preparation of final plans and reports.

- A successful candidate will have a B.S. or M.S. in Engineering.
- Good technical writing, computer, and communication skills are essential for this role.
- The candidate may be eligible to receive project management training.
- An Engineer in Training (EIT) license is required, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license will be needed in the future.
