- The Senior Structural Bridge Engineer will design complete projects, systems, components, and processes.
- Quality control reviews and field observations of ongoing construction projects will be part of the responsibilities.

- The role requires collaboration with a team of engineers at the FDOT Corridors Program Office and other stakeholders.
- This position is embedded within the FDOT Corridors Program Office, requiring attendance five days a week.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing is required for this position.
- Candidates should have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in structural engineering, particularly in bridge design.
- Strong knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances is essential.
- Proficiency in production software and construction document production is necessary for success in this role.
- The successful candidate will possess strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and team members.
- A passion for problem-solving and the ability to formulate timely and innovative solutions will be highly valued.
