✨ About The Role
- The Senior Electrical Engineer will be involved in a variety of projects supporting the design and modifications for electrical power systems in CANDU and other nuclear power plants.
- Responsibilities include performing engineering work in accordance with AtkinsRéalis/Candu Energy QA programs and applicable codes and standards.
- The role requires coordination and interfacing with clients, suppliers, and other design disciplines to execute assigned engineering work.
- The engineer will prepare technical documents such as engineering drawings, design specifications, and commissioning specifications.
- Supervisory duties may include leading a team of junior engineers and designers, preparing estimates, and monitoring schedules.

- The ideal candidate will have an Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or an equivalent degree recognized by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
- A Professional Engineer registration in the Province of Ontario is required for this role.
- Candidates should possess over 15 years of related work experience in electrical engineering and power systems design, particularly within the nuclear industry.
- Experience with medium voltage and low voltage power distribution systems is essential, including the preparation of various electrical diagrams and calculations.
