✨ About The Role
- The Senior Cost Engineer will manage budgets, commitments, and final forecast costs for a diverse portfolio of New Energy projects.
- The role involves delivering accurate cost forecasting with a target accuracy of +/-5% on a quarterly and annual basis.
- The successful candidate will develop and present cost trends in coordination with key project stakeholders.
- Responsibilities include supporting the change management process and providing commentary for variance analysis in monthly performance reports.
- The position requires close monitoring of cost performance against key performance indicators using systems such as Earned Value.

- A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction, Finance, or a related field is required, or 8 years of relevant experience in a Project Controls environment.
- Candidates should have experience with Oil & Gas and/or New Energy project types.
- Certification with AACE, PMI, or CMAA is preferred, indicating a commitment to professional development.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in project controls systems and be able to interpret project schedules and productivity norms.
- Strong presentation skills are necessary to effectively communicate cost estimates, budgets, and reports to senior management and external stakeholders.
