✨ About The Role
- The Program Cost Controller will manage cost reporting with accurate and timely information on budget, commitments, forecasts, trends, variances, progress, performance, risk, opportunity, contingency, and cash flow.
- The role involves conducting ongoing analysis of program risks during execution and working closely with Program Controls to optimize contingency strategies.
- Monitoring costs against agreed-upon budgets, schedules, and contractual deliverables within large, mission-critical projects is a key responsibility.
- The position requires conducting reviews and audits of non-contract costs, labor, and expense reports, and submitting adjustments to finance for accuracy.
- The candidate will perform Earned Value Management and provide analysis and management reports to summarize and explain key variances.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a recognized degree in quantity surveying, cost and commercial management, project management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in cost management, control, quantity surveying, or project accounting on large-scale projects is essential.
- Candidates should possess experience in cost control, financial analysis, risk management, and reporting principles in complex, multibillion-dollar construction and infrastructure environments.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other cost management software tools is required to document and illustrate cost performance effectively.
- Project Management, Cost Management, or Project Controls accreditation such as PMI, AACE, APM, or RICS would be an asset.
