- The Procurement Advisor will be responsible for initiating, issuing, and administering purchase orders and contracts.
- Proper documentation of suppliers must be ensured, along with the acknowledgment and acceptance of Purchase Orders by vendors.
- The role involves providing support to project managers and engineers regarding contract and purchase order procedures.
- The candidate will prepare formal amendments or change orders for approved changes and manage requests for changes.
- Collaboration with the Finance department for invoice reconciliation is a key responsibility.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of purchasing or procurement experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in SAP Ariba/Oracle ERP systems and MS Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- The candidate should be a dedicated team player with well-established interpersonal and client-facing skills.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset, especially for candidates located in Quebec.
