✨ About The Role
- The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for mechanical design, preparation of drawings, and 3D modeling for industrial and power projects.
- Responsibilities include reviewing regulatory requirements and preparing high-quality engineering deliverables within agreed timelines.
- The role involves preparing various mechanical drawings, including layouts, schematic diagrams, and connection/support detail drawings.
- The candidate will assist engineers in quantifying equipment and materials for Bill of Materials take-off.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD is required, and experience with 3D modeling tools is an added advantage.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, particularly in industrial projects, is required.
- The candidate should have experience in an EPCM work environment and be familiar with relevant tools and software.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysia Code and local legislative regulations, as well as international codes, is essential.
- The successful individual will demonstrate a strong mechanical attitude and high proficiency in design.
