- The Engineering Specialist will actively participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications for various materials including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
- The role involves conducting studies, surveys, technical reports, and structural inspections.

- Ensuring that engineering work meets industry quality standards and complies with the National Building Code and Ontario Building Code is a key responsibility.

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with a master's degree in Structural Engineering being an asset.
- Candidates should be working towards obtaining certification to become a P.Eng.
- Previous related experience in a structural engineering firm or construction is preferred.
- Entry-level experience with structural design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or SAFE is beneficial.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage changing priorities will be crucial.
