✨ About The Role
- The Electrical Engineering Team Lead will provide electrical systems design leadership and project management throughout the project lifecycle.
- The role involves reviewing and clearly communicating client requirements, providing design options, and developing strategies to manage project risks.
- The candidate will lead and document meetings with clients, contractors, and other consultants.
- Responsibilities include preparing design briefs, schematics, project documents, and performing engineering calculations.
- The position requires leading the production of all necessary engineering documents in schematic design, design development, and working drawings.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and be registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in building systems engineering is required, particularly in educational, health care, and commercial facilities.
- The candidate should demonstrate experience in building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, understanding their objectives, and anticipating their needs.
- Experience in supervising, mentoring, and motivating a team of engineers and designers is essential for this role.
- Proficiency in AUTOCAD is required, with additional experience in REVIT and Micro-station considered an asset.
