✨ About The Role
- The role involves handling the design of electrical distribution network components for various types of buildings, including offices, residential, and commercial projects.
- Responsibilities include preparing single line diagrams, electrical load lists, and distribution network strategies.
- The candidate will be involved in the design of medium voltage networks and sizing of main electrical equipment.
- Preparation of electrical systems layout drawings and coordination with other disciplines such as architecture, civil, and mechanical is required.
- The position also entails assisting senior engineers in technical project work and communicating efficiently with project stakeholders.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have 6 to 10 years of proven experience in electrical engineering, particularly in design and design review of LV and MV electrical distribution networks.
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a reputable university with a minimum overall grade of "Very Good" is required.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of international codes and standards, as well as familiarity with local codes in the Middle East and Gulf countries.
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary environment and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multilingual setting are essential.
- Proficiency in using design software such as Revit, BIM 360, and Navisworks is a must, along with experience in electrical design tools like Dialux and ETAP.
