✨ About The Role

- The role involves defining, owning, and managing the Mass Properties program plan and process for tracking weight and balance data. - The engineer will be responsible for building a mass properties database that supports all aircraft and their variants. - Tracking vehicle mass, center of gravity, and inertia throughout the product development cycle is a key responsibility. - The position requires managing data maturity and identifying risks related to weight and balance. - The engineer will support FAA certification activities and communicate status updates to leadership and the team in real-time.

- A successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a related STEM field. - The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of eight years of experience as a Mass Properties Engineer on a development program. - Experience with weighing aircraft and creating FAA compliant reports is essential for this role. - The candidate should have a proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and suppliers to develop weight requirements and control plans. - Strong project management skills are necessary to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
