✨ About The Role
- The Process Engineering Lead will provide process support to the Air Separation Unit (ASU), Auto Thermal Reformer (ATR), and Steam Methane Reformer (SMR) plants.
- The role involves offering technical support to the operations team to ensure safe plant operation in accordance with procedures.
- The candidate will identify deviations in plant performance and develop technical solutions to minimize underperformance.
- Responsibilities include supporting non-standard process activities such as start-ups and shutdowns.
- The role requires assessing and quantifying benefits of plant improvements for business case justification.
- The candidate will produce PID change notes and process specifications, including functional logic tables and safety equipment specifications.
- Reviewing technical documentation and providing process input to hazard studies is also part of the job.
- The position reports to the Engineering Manager and is based in Karshi, Uzbekistan.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have an accredited formal Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Process Engineer in a plant operations role is essential.
- Proficiency in Uzbek, Russian, and English, both oral and written, is required for effective communication.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary to interact with both technical and non-technical teams.
- The candidate should possess process engineering knowledge of Air Separation, Gasification, and/or Hydrogen Production.
- Experience with plant control systems and advanced control systems for process optimization is crucial.
- The successful individual will have excellent analytical skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting plant operations.
- Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis is important for identifying and resolving operational issues.
