✨ About The Role
- The Instrumentation & Control Engineer will provide engineering oversight to ensure safe and smooth commissioning activities at the IGCC Power Plant facilities.
- This role involves leading interactions with plant operations and maintenance teams to provide hands-on DCS and field-engineering support.
- The engineer will be responsible for developing detailed engineering specifications for Instrument & Controls systems components and equipment procurement.
- The position requires implementing and maintaining compliance with all Critical Safety Circuits and Safety Instrumented Systems.
- Continuous improvement in safety performance, reliability, and cost of quality goals will be a key focus of this role.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electronics engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience in Power Plant operations and maintenance or commissioning of power projects.
- A strong background in troubleshooting and servicing field instruments and control systems is essential for success in this role.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) such as Siemens SPPA-T3000 or Honeywell Experion.
- A deep understanding of Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) is crucial for ensuring compliance with safety management systems.
- The successful individual will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically and systematically in high-pressure situations.
