✨ About The Role
- The Instrumentation & Control Engineer will provide engineering oversight to ensure safe and smooth commissioning activities at the IGCC Power Plant facilities.
- This role involves supporting engineering evaluations, providing technical direction, and overseeing inspection and quality assurance initiatives for Instrument & Controls systems.
- The engineer will develop detailed engineering specifications for the procurement of Instrument & Controls systems components and equipment.
- The position requires maintaining compliance with all Critical Safety Circuits and implementing risk-based inspection and calibration programs.
- The engineer will also mentor and develop local Instrumentation & Control engineers.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electronics engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience in Power Plant operations and maintenance or commissioning of power projects.
- A strong background in troubleshooting and servicing field instruments and control systems is essential for success in this role.
- Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
- The successful individual will demonstrate hands-on ability to configure, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair various plant process instrumentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically and systematically are crucial for this position.
