- The Fired Heater Engineer will be responsible for performing structural and mechanical design calculations.
- This role involves managing assigned tasks and projects with a high degree of independence.
- The engineer will collaborate with the engineering and design team to complete project deliverables in a timely manner.
- Responsibilities include reviewing and developing project scope, schedule, and execution strategies.
- The engineer will prepare structural and mechanical design calculations and design packages within budget and schedule.
- Engaging with key stakeholders in the execution and delivery of contracted activities is a critical part of the job.
- The role may require routine travel to domestic and international locations for meetings and inspections.
- The engineer will provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering.
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering is required.
- The candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership experience and skills, particularly in interfacing with global teams, are essential for success in this role.
- Experience with fired heater/reformer or similar industrial equipment is preferred.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD and working knowledge of AutoCAD and Smart 3D is necessary.
- The candidate must be able to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural team and business environment.
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required for this position.
