- The Construction Safety Engineer will manage daily construction safety activities for specified contractors.
- This role requires ensuring compliance with local regulations and Air Products safety standards during construction.
- The engineer will collaborate with the construction site manager to develop safety execution strategies and detailed plans.
- Responsibilities include monitoring third-party site representatives and ensuring contractor compliance with safety standards.
- The engineer will report potential safety issues and unsafe conditions before construction begins and submit necessary audits and reports timely.

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S).
- A state safety inspector certification is mandatory for this role.
- Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of field construction safety supervision experience, preferably in petrochemical, chemical, or industrial gas projects.
- The successful individual must maintain a high standard of health and fitness, capable of climbing and walking extensively in the field.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, is essential.
