- The substation engineering department is responsible for the design of substation facilities and relay protection of all equipment on AES Indiana's transmission and distribution systems.

- The ideal candidate is a student pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Candidates should have an academic standing of sophomore status or higher, indicating a solid foundation in their studies.
- Strong academic background and exceptional attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Organizational and presentation skills will be important for effectively communicating engineering concepts.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Word, is preferred for this internship.
